Only the wealthy have interest to protect, the rest only have stupidity to protect trough politics

@swenani - wachana na hao... it would be palatable or understandable if the interests were economic in nature. if the looted money was invested in Central. I remember during Moi's era we had Kaleos all over and even in schools we would get Kaleos getting in through the back door and their roads were paved and electricity was flowing huko kwao. They were receiving plots in Mau e.t.c. I CAN UNDERSTAND WHEN KALEOS DECIDED TO STAY WITH MOI coz Mwamba ngoma huvuta pande yake but hii ingine ni upuzi

Kwanza some of these people people think are 'theirs' are very arrogant people - they really look down on the kawaida Okuyu person.
If you will vote for Uhuru for no reason than that he is Okuyu and you are Okuyu then here is some advice

Human being are by design lazy and unwilling to struggle to get anything unless they are under threat.

That is the reason why as soon as a guy wakes up and finds he is from tribe A or B ( and you know he could have been lied to ),then he says am soo lucky I don't have to work , I am proud to be an id.... any thing !!.

What a pity : the average voter in any democracy isnt half as rational yet he holds the master card. BTW interests are not necessarily economic. It could be social... who is the easiest to identify with. Trump is the front runner to succeed Obama but is he the most sensible of all the candidates? Beyond his expert use of the word "we" what else does he offer to justify his popularity?
JAP will not lose the next election coz of graft, tribalism or any vice.... they have always been there. The only way is for Cord to have more of their supporters cast the vote. You can bank this tomorrow!

No need to vote. Uhuru has said they will rule up to 2032

The following are facts that are good examples of why peopl vote the way they vote.

1. State power was used against central kenya communities by the colonial government that resulted in many deaths, forced labor and lots of displacement of families. People lost a lot of properties.

2. During the Moi era, coffee and tea industries that used to be the base of livelihood for many common people were destroyed. State power was again used to disfranchise Wanjiku

3. In 2007 PEV, the victims were common people....the representative of government, namely the police could not save or protect them.

People have these things in their subconscious as individuals and as communities, and when they go to vote the biggest driver is the fear of state power being used against them. That's why people will vote for their own. Those who have had power in the past used it against communities they deemed were against them.
