Closed @4.05 which is the all time low. The all time lows streak is relentless since last year. Mr Market is so bearish. 2M shares traded last Friday and this has been tanking the price just before fiscal year close. Not a nice sign for FY 2017. $15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

@Obiero - Google is (almost) free. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virgin_Atlantic
"In May 2014, Virgin Atlantic ended flights to Sydney. In September 2014, Virgin Atlantic announced plans to scrap flights to Tokyo, Mumbai, Vancouver and Cape Town and to code-share transatlantic flights with Delta Air Lines." "axing its new 'Little Red' domestic airline after suffering heavy losses" "On 6 October 2014, Virgin Atlantic confirmed that Little Red services between London and Manchester would end in March 2015, with the Scottish routes closing in September 2015" "In June 2015, Richard Branson admitted that Virgin Atlantic would be in "real trouble" without strategic support from Delta Air Lines. With cumulative losses between 2010 and 2013 amounting to £233 million, the future of the 30-year-old airline was in doubt." Willie Walsh (CEO of IAG which owns BA & Iberia): "I can't see Delta wanting to operate the Virgin brand because if they do what does that say about the Delta brand? I just don't see that the guy [Branson] has anything that stands out in terms of what he has achieved in the industry." It's not clear how much of Virgin Atlantic Branson owns. http://www.theguardian.c...ds-richard-branson-owns Virgin Group (not Branson in his personal capacity) owns 51% of VA. Some say, Branson leases the Branson brand rather than actual (significant) ownership in the Virgin Group. http://www.virgin-atlant...viewnov_tcm4-426059.pdf

http://www.forbes.com/si...ive-brand/#1e750d6b385d Oct 15 2015 "That said, the airline has been under pressure trying to turnaround a series of losses while restructuring its route system to take advantage of its transatlantic partnership with Delta at the expense of its network to Asia and other points." Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

The selective negative energy you use to put down KQ is commendable.. Lets see how it goes. There was a meeting between the union and McKinsey guys...meeting went well before the union guys said if there is going to be a retrenchment it should cut across all departments and should start with senior management before trickling down to the lower cadre staff....McKinsey guy says that's bullshit...used the exact word...let's just say security guys had to be called to stop a probable fist fight...things are thick. possunt quia posse videntur
