The article below explains why mt kenya communities vote the way they vote.

http://www.standardmedia...f-an-outsider-president

Although the region has produced three of the four independent presidents, a siege mentality against power of state being turned against the Kikuyu was a dominant factor influencing voter behaviour during elections. This dread of forced eviction is rooted in the colonial experience, the anti-Gema purge of the 80s and perpetuated by the cyclic ethnic violence around election seasons in the 90s, whose ghosts are still haunting the nation to date, including the International Criminal Court’s interventions in Kenya.

Come 2017 watu wa nyumba will still vote for UMK.All these other things you hear are side shows.
The formation of one party JPK is to tame samoeii so that they can dump him after 2017 elections. His trap was already set and he has already thrown himself in.
Tweeter is nowadays the source of information on corruption in these regime. The days of secrets in gava ended with Mo1

The issue is not necessarily whether they will vote UMK or not. The issue is what the voter turn out will turn out compared to 2013.

What we know is that there will be runoff in 2017. What we don't know is who will win it. But looking at 2013 figures, give bupamba Madvd votes, factor voter apathy in jubilee strongholds coz of eurobond and such, bupamba could end up with last laugh

No. He will NOT have the last laugh. Voter apathy will be overwhelmed by fear of Bupamba. Whether this fear is unfounded or not, the reality is that it is real.

Capitalise on fear of Bupamba at this tym and age? Try something else. This would only work in NRB where he already has 40-50% of the vote under lock and key anyway. With county govts, increasingly pple mashinani dont care much who is at the centre, only problem is if economy aint doing well and they cant afford basic needs

Politicians the whole wide world will always capitalise on any of our fears upende usipende. They will even create fears if none exist!

U huru and his team have panicked due to the central Kenya voter apathy.Only 6% of the iintended voters have registered.Nyanza is leading in new voter registration. He can try to clear debts in coffee, build dual carriage roads, wamwage pombe.Nothing is working. The voting machines are tired of being taken for granted. The ground is very hostile.Ata Risasi anaweza kuwa rais kwani iko nini?

@ Limanika political predictions are as useless as tits on a nun. Look up similar threads prior to 2013 election, you will find over 10 stating that UK will never be president, Baba will win in round one, Peter Kenneth is a is very strong candidate and so on and so forth. You Cannot claim your feelings here to be facts. Just because you have opened over 20 threads discrediting jubilee, it doesn't translate to support or lack off for the current government. Kenyans vote on tribe and that is what is going to determine who will be at the house on the hill. Hii ingine ni pang'ang'a
