Republican bigwings like Romney and Mccain have come out en masse to try and stop Trump. Romney gave a big speech the other day calling Trump a fraud and a phoney. It may have had some effect because Trump's numbers have fallen a bit even though he won two states this weekend. The republican convention is going to be very interesting especially if its a contested convention. Get the popcorn ready.

These elections seem to be sending the message that in all politics tribes and violence are inevitable. Power, is how much your tribe offers to you in exchange for what you offer and the capacity to inflict and survive violence.
Because we're also in the voting season it's important for me to remember that I should check out with my tribe and my army... In America they have militias. In Kenya we hear of gangs and illegal societies.
'The people', don't exist, but they are real. So it's easy to speak of the people and be deluding yourself. Government of the people by the people for the people is a fantasy. It's an over generalization.
So when alba and alma are voting for policy, and exhorting us to vote for policy, I choose not to partake of this mind numbing fantasy.
The most interesting twist, is that not all tribes are ethnic groups.
I see I'm at the battlefront of global politics; local politics. Witnessing power shift unfolding.

It still looks like a Trump vs Hillary ticket in November, but if Trump doesn't gain the required delegates number...the establishment might just "steal" from him. Trump will win Illinois even after all the protests. Rubio is out after loosing home, Kasich who won home and Cruz still hold on. "There are only two emotions in the market, hope & fear.
