Ama the decision is based on dividend yield?

kplc will never be run to please the shareholder

And then why do you want to buy??

because my price offer factors the frustration involved

Okay. Then get your cheque book ready. You might just get a chance to buy @ that price on Friday 6th November 2015 (Next Friday).

If it doesn't happen by then, then it will not be happening any time soon!

@mlennyma - Is your cheque book out and dusted???

my cds is fully loaded Iam watching keenly if it doesn't come I will be patient until it goes ex div

@mlennyma - I told you the best price you will get will be by Friday 6th November and if you don't buy by then, it will be a long time before you see those price again!

I hope you have seen the prices today!

a lesson to learn how in a similar way the market will leave many waiting for the bottom

Kabisa!

If you are positive about the fundamentals of a share, then but pole pole over this period (please not average down). Here you are buying to invest in the company!!!!!

In the 2015 annual report I note the Board of Trustees of the National Security Fund is out of the top 20 shareholders list.
Meaning NSSF disposed of its entire stake in the company

This is how money is stolen. Why not lobby the various govt organizations to ban these energy guzzlers?

Dear Customer, We stopped sending paper bills. To receive your bill register via mobile *551# or KPLC Website. Remember to De-register when you change houses.

1. Safaricom will continue to fatten.
2. KPLC is susceptible to public pressure in that if it makes a huge profit and pays handsome dividends (Mama Ngina will be mentioned adversely as the top dividend receiver) Kenyans will lament and call for reduced costs of thitima with wailer being on top.
3. @ MaichBlack your deadline passed and I see its hovering in lower 13's.

The CEO report in FY 2015 report, does not mention shareholders or investors in the company except for the quoted vision. The most expensive debt at 16% from Equity is not serviced in the year under consideration-not even a cent! I thought they should prioritize most expensive debt over the cheaper ones. I think the management of this company does not value investor returns. I wonder how many shares the CEO owns, i will not be surprised if infact it is zero.

I have not heard good things about Ben Chumo. As I understand it, corruption is rampant in the organization.

I don't think we need analysts in obvious long term buys like kpc at current pricesmile
