Allow me to comment again about this NYS thing once more. I hope I will not repeat myself. We are in great danger of missing the truth because of the noise of our Politicians both Cord and Jubilee and by the way, I believe neither Cord nor Jubilee politicians are clean.

We have to ask very critical Questions

1. If the BFIU of the CID was compromised as Kabura says, Do you think they would have been bold enough to disclose to Waiguru that the DP PA and close associates were in crisis talks as the investigations were going on? Do we just assume the same cartel did not try to intimidate them? Actually there were some reports that are not captured in Waiguru's report Mukomen tried to intimidate the CID. If the CID was compromised, do you think they will be bold enough to go to an extent of seizing property and applying for the freezing of bank accounts? I believe Kabura's affidavit is designed to punish them for refusing to play ball. Why did we quickly believe Kabura when she implicated them? This is what I think.
(a) Because we have very little confidence and opinion about the Kenya Police.... and we are justified because of their past records.
(b)Because Raila rubbished their investigations. We tend to believe politicians more. And he had a good reason to dismiss their investigations. Why? Being a politician and having been in government, he knows very well how you can manipulate the police and arms of government. Probably, he has done that in the past

Is there a possibility that they could have been compromised? It could still have happened. They could have come across more damning bank transactions involving the big men and opted not to disclose that. But may be not considering Kabura's affidavit. Now that Waiguru's have come out with her damning allegations, when EACC are doing investigations, they now know they cannot give a lesser implicating report, they can only give more damning or equal to it. That is what the public expect.

Could the BFIU that investigated this be exceptional cops who did their work excellently which is abnormal most of the times in this country? My answer is there is a chance. Why do I think so, When they knew that Waiguru was pushing for this, and knowing that Waiguru was considered close to the President, they feared that may be it is the President himself pushing for it.

2. Let's go back to Waiguru. I believe her affidavit and attached communication clearly points to the kind of person she was...... she wanted this to be investigated to the end. We can get this if we read the affidavit and accompanying letters with an open mind.
Question is, why had she not made the Harakhe Letters to be known publicly when she had them all this time. I just hope she will soon answer this question. But this is my thinking..... She is Justified to keep this information until the investigations were complete. So, why did she not disclose the information when the investigations were complete? I do not know.. Maybe lawyers advised her.... hope she will tell us one day. But I have a feeling the President came to know about this before she resigned and may be she was asked to keep the information to her self.

Should we be castigating Waiguru the way we are doing? I think not, we have just fallen to the schemes of Politicians. If you look at her affidavit and Harakhe's letters you will see two people who were working together. Some say Harakhe is the Whistle blower and that Waiguru ate with the Kabura's. Lets not forget that we came to know Harakhe's letters, from Waiguru. Actually, even after Working very hard to resist the cartels, Harakhe had not succeeded in having the reversals made. Only Waiguru's telephone call made the cartels let it go. When Harakhe finally speaks, we are likely to be disappointed that he will praise Waiguru as the only one who helped him. We cannot praise Harakhe and fail to note Waiguru's contribution in helping Harakhe.

3. Why we should be supporting Waiguru and Harakhe. We are all saying that Raila is they guy who helped everything. I do not deny that his noise helped. But let us ask ourselves, although lots of noise have been made on Euro bond issue and other issues, how much of this have we unearthed as we did to NYS? I hold the view that if it was not for Harakhe and Waiguru, the NYS would still be one of those noises without factual evidence that money was infact stolen. Duale would still be calling Raila sijui this and that and would be laughing thinking that there was no truth. I know one of the reason Waiguru is hated so much, is because Raila said that she stole. Now Duale who was demonising Raila is saying Waiguru stole. And here is Harakhe who we think we can separate his actions from Waiguru. We are losing it because of being too naive.......always falling for politicians.

Waiguru cannot be trusted and neither can her detractors. I shall believe these stories when I see someone jailed.

In the whole saga, everybody mentioned is pleading innocence,yet money disappeared. Which means we will never know the truth.I suggest the President forms a commission so the public may get to know the truth and that those found guilty may get their time in jail. Somehow though, i find Halakhe's side of the story more plausible than all others but see how he got paid. A shoe on his backside.Poor man.

I agree, may be none at all is to be trusted even EACC, judges and everyone else. Yes, these are just stories. Actually, may be no money was lost, its just a story that no one should believe
