People please make me understand. Why is it evry time one gets in some kind of criss/ mess or the usual challenges of life they are advised to turn to God??? Why why why

It never happens when one land the perfect catch, hits the jack pot they never rush to Church bible for reassurance?? But the moment you loose your job/income, loss of a loved one .... we turn to the bible for reassurance and solace.

Ain't a non believer, but seriously don't you think that we're defrauding GOD??

We can we hypothetically say then that all "church fanatics" savedee kinds are people beaten down by life thus they seek thy solace in church.

help me understand.

ps/ This shouldn't be a contest btwn the hardcore believer and the rest.. mnajijua .. Me included. Lol

The bible tells us to do so

Jeremiah 31:25I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.

Jesus the Son of God told us to cast all our burdens to Him.

Mathew 11:28
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest
Isaiah 65:17-Look! I am creating new heavens and a new earth, and no one will even think about the old ones anymore

@Veteran ...smile Thanks for that. I think i slept throughout my Sunday school classes.

That not withstanding, i believe you feel the gist of my contention??

Why run to God when in sorrow. What does the Bible say about riches and "Good life" ??

You don't have to get saved only when facing a problem. What I try to correct is that you get God when you're convicted about him, trouble or not. The Bible has enough material about everything in life. What I know it emphasizes on the wealthy is the conviction of giving. To be a true Christian we emphasize on true repentance. About fanaticism, now that's something else....
