so our brodas decided to take a stab at the long distances and decided to do their 1st ever Lagos Marathon - the Usual suspects (Kenyans and Ethiopians) took the honours and the 1st broda showed up at no.7. I think he really tried!

I saw the Naija versions of @alma asking "when naija is ever going to produce 'the best'"

of course there were tweets about all the guys that fainted (running is a culture i tell you!)... people asking "who asked these people to go run?" or "why didn't the people normally seen running on a certain road in lagos daily win the thing" but of course the funniest tweet was


I hope they continue with moyo huo huo...

This being Naija I expected a Julius Njogu type performance or two.
But even with a Njogu stunt I still do no think a Naija person can achieve a podium finish
