His finance officer was earning 85k per month and had stashed 450m in his accounts. Now it has been revealed that the boss himself kidero who earns 1m has 'saved' 1B in his accounts. Yaani since he became governor he has been paid a cumulative salary of 28m but managed to save 1B. He must declare how he got to save so much money and if he has been paying taxes to KRA, just like they did to the finance officer.

Its not since he was governor...

1B is nothing to these guys. By the way, why the shock smile

Because it's my taxes plus the sugar farmers stolen money.

He is not the 1st & the last. So recover from your shock, accept and move on. Otherwise you will die needless smile

Kidero is a good man. If he's stolen anything then it's because he wants to be a good leader. Wouldn't it be better if he had this money for his leadership projects than for such money to be shared among people with no vision and with mediocre abilities?

Reason is always conditional. And I'd suspect that our political and economic conditions would justify such reasoning.

The fact that Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero can easily dish out a street name to Tanzanian President Jakaya Kikwete, a man who have triggered several diplomatic tiffs between Kenya and his country in the past, and debate whether to rename Limuru Road after Nobel Laureate Prof. Wangari Maathai even after a successful motion by Karura MCA Fiu Nifiu demands he does so is an act of monumental sabotage...

Limuru road is not a county road, it is a national road hence the input of the national government in renaming it is required
If Obiero did it, Who Am I?

When history is told only then will you know what a mistake Nairobins borrowed msc management to run the county. Lessons never learned are very painful

While there are people who have no inclination to steal due to moral obligations, we cannot assume that all are like that, thus the need to implement financial control systems to deal with the rouge. Problem with the existing controls is that they are mediocre, not capable of putting to check the caliber of corruption found in Kenya. If gov is sincere in fighting corruption, jail'em & seal the loopholes with technology.

Will @KIDero really win back the seat in 2017?

He will. As long as "nyomba" decides to float a "nyomba candidate" with the blessings of "nyomba council of elders".

Sonko seems to be popular, if he runs, he is likely to win.

If after investigations, they find that Kidero is guilty, that his will be his other stumbling block.

Kidero launches yet another strategic plan for nairobi. One would think that at this stage he would be taking stock of his achievements not launching new plans.

It can happen.... and that would be the most unfortunate thing nairobians can deliver for Kenya. Clearly, this guy is incompetent, I don't think he knows what's going on. Anywhere you pass now in that city is totally dirty, a city he took, looking great.... now it is littered with filth and the street families are back. pick pockets and phone/bag/ear-ring snatchers are ruling the streets!!

What is a strategic plan? it should be a strategic action time for planning is up we have too many plans gathering dust on the shelves start with those.
If Sonko will vie Kidero will lose, if the MK Mafia plants their guy the MK Mafia will win, we still don't know who they will plant yet.

I know a guy who was Kidero's driver/personal assistant at Mumias, he is around 33y-34y, no college education, he is a millionaire, he has his own driver right now, his car collections include a Range HSE, and Prado. I don't know what the guy does but he is worth over kshs 100M

I don't understand why Kenyans are outrage about the Judge and not Kidero, both of them should be on the hot seat.

Kidero's lawyer Tom Ojienda now demands Ksh 724m from city hall for legal services. Seems the Toonoi 200m must be recovered in all ways possible.
