The problem with al kebabs is that they want to establish a caliphate in East Africa and get rid of all kafir. That is why the cancer must be stopped by all means. Withdrawing from somalia and letting them (alkebabs) occupy all the lands bordering kenya would be a terrible mistake. We should help amisom and somali govt crush them otherwise there could be alot of trouble ahead.

Hard to defeat cancer.... Especially once its passed stage 2 Sad

So what should we do? Give up and sit back, and pray?

You could try fight it but since its now passed stage 2 prayer seems more viable!

pull back to the boarder, establish a buffer zone, we really don't need this war, things as they are now no progress is being made in Somalia by AMISOM, only leaders benefiting and military top dogs from illegal trades in charcoal ans sugar, not to mention the chance to loot in military supplies tenders, meanwhile wanjiku keeps getting calls from DOD to collect her dead sons, chase around for years for benefits then give up and curse the govt

Kuna kitu sijaelewa...if they want to establish a caliphate why are they not interested in other neighboring countries? Is Kenya a soft target or something?

Quote:
The Somali military, backed by the African Union (AU), has retaken Merca from al-Shabab militants who seized the port city on Friday, residents say.
Civilian casualties were reported after what residents said was light resistance from the militants.
The AU on Friday denied it had lost control of Merca, saying it had made a tactical withdrawal.
A Somali military official told AFP news agency: "The Somali forces and Amisom [AU] peacekeepers secured control of Merca again and now the situation has returned to normal.
"There was brief exchange of gunfire, but the militants have fled."
He said "several" al-Shabab fighters and one Somali soldier had been killed in the fighting. A resident told AFP that four civilians had died in his part of the city.

Terrorism related but not related to the attack

the East African wrote:
A suspected suicide bomber who blew a hole in the fuselage of a Daallo Airlines plane last week and forced it to make an emergency landing in Mogadishu was meant to be on a Turkish Airlines flight, the Daallo chief executive said on Monday.

The bomber was sucked out of the plane through the one-metre wide hole when the blast ripped open the pressurised cabin in mid-air, officials said. The pilot landed the plane in the Somali capital, from where it had taken off.

That is Karma right there
