the press is very busy echoing the calls of m.r.c
this begs the question is pwani not in kenya? the president is not visiting the coast region . the president is in kenya conducting his presidential duties. he can also declare today that the state house in mombasa is his main office.
we are all very sad and we are still in shock on what happened in somalia. why is the press trivializing the feelings of the berieved?
in my opinion we should first mourn our fallen heroes then later after the emotions have cooled down analyze how the executive conducted itself. the U.S has been in every major war in this and the last century. their presidents are used to this kind of events. why compare our president with the U.S leader?
if you kenyans tweeting that the president is at the coast instead of being at the wilson to receive our fallen heroes , who has stopped you from going to the airport . why am i not seeing the same crowds of people as the ones that went to welcome the pope? nugu nyinyi

Kenyans love gossip and rumors, sprinkled with tribalism and gulped down with a bottle full of pombe. Add to that the brainwashed minds that always think 'our lead tribesman is always right' and you have a populace that has no will to engage its brain even at the most fundamental level of questioning elementary discourse.

It is okay for President to be in Msa. But for me in the face of this tragedy more involvement and leadership is expected.
Just as absolute power corrupts leaders, so does absolute fanaticism blind the people from logic

Involvement mean him to be at airport CS and the jeshi head are not enough to receive them?

i dont expect this kind of reporting from the mainstream media. gone are the days when the government used to claim "uchochezi" from the media. this kind of tabloid journalism from our mainstream meadia especially on serious matters is harming their reputation. soon there will be no diffrence in watching the "vijanaa" doing the K.U tv news and the KTN nonsense
