It is fool hardy to believe that any national good will come out
Of this war in Somalia. What is the objective? Occupy Somalia? For how long? How will we know al shabab has been defeated and not just gone underground? If indeed there is a so called National Goverment in charge of 80%, why cant this national govt control the 20%? Why cant they be given the necessary arms and suport to be able to subdue the terrorists among them? Its a useless unwinnable war. The so called National govt is itself weak and full of factions. As soon as " common enemy" al shabab is sorted, it will fall apart again.
You need to look at AMISOM's mandate in somalia since KDF are part of the group.

AMISOM has about 22,000 troops which include 6000 Ugandans, 5400 Burundians, 4400 Ethiopians, and 3600 Kenyans. Others are from sierra leone and Djibouti. So if a few are attacked while in the battle field, you shouldn't say that everyone should withdraw from somalia. We shouldn't
lose focus of the bigger picture which is to bring stability to that country, and the entire region.
