If i rem a similar attack on Burundians/Ugandans, they must hv used a vehicle IED, that smashes concrete barriers and then explodes, shredding the suicide bomber to smithereens or just vaporising the guy. Then in that confusion the alkebab infantry pour in shootin and firing RPGs at confused soldiers. Mimi najua hio kama civilian, sembuse wale je hio ni kazi na ofisi yao jamaneni?

Most disturbing lapses -why our very effective MI did not know boggies were mobilising - enemies must have spied on the base many a time, and moved men and materiel -if you are keen on your surroundings you will surely pick these signs of swelling ranks of enemy combatants as they mobilize; why there were no many barriers placed at strategic points as you approach the heart of the base; why air support was not forthcoming from the attack gunships?

Even as we analyse the whole mess and pray for the KIAs,I stand with KDF. Pray
I have personally taken a deliberate effort not to spread the pics circulating on whatsapp so that i can deny the alkebab the publicity they so desperately crave for.

Is it alright for our media to keep on harping about the slain soldiers as if it's the best thing that happened this new year? Trumpeting the actions of the enemy is so stupid and very irresponsible. This is for Radio Jambo and a prayer for our soldiers. We will triumph over those evil maniacs.
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

So you want them not to report? It's the front page news at BBC and The Wall Street Journal for crying out loud. Even if you won't watch it on NTV the whole internet is reading about it.
