You know the DJ is a jangili ... but you also know that he gets a good return for his shareholders... as long as interests are aligned. @target1360 what stocks are you invested in? b.a.t,e.a.b.l, nic, unga, kcb, safcom, and my achilles heel is kenre! i also hold cfc stanbic since since it is my banker for stocks and transactions/savings Bear proof portfolio, good one. It is my first filter for stocks, management. If I don't trust I don't even evalua the stock. Interesting, the only share I don't want to buy/ have from that list is kenre and maybe Unga( not coz of management issues on Unga) The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself

Centum seeks more shares of Coca-Cola bottling firms (Almasi) http://www.businessdaily.../-/uktig9z/-/index.html
I like James Mworia. He is a smart guy. Warren Buffett likes Coca Cola since it is firm that makes & distributes products that cost little to manufacture and are 'addictive' coz of the sugar! Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

If they were focussed on such ventures like Almasi,General Motors,Nairobi Bottlers, quoted equity, corporate bonds and government tbills and bonds this would be a gem stone company. The over ambitious venture into real estate and power is where they goofed since this are very capital intensive projects which Centum lacks. Two Rivers Mall now stalling is an example Wealth is built through a relatively simple equation Wealth=Income + Investments - Lifestyle
