You know that's bullshit, IMF estimates our 2016 GDP to be US $68billion and that of Tanzania at US $48, how that guy calculates the difference to give him 10% nobody knows. Ndii cooks nos. in his articles to either sensationalise or push an agenda

You are living in the nostalgia of the 1980s my friend when the Kenyan economy was the strongest in east Africa. Since then tables have turned. Ndii s article make sense. Tanzania will overtake Kenya due to its natural resource base of diamonds, gold, natural gas and Agro commodities like coffee, tea as well as high end tourism. Our once booming sectors are declining. Just look at tea, coffee, tourism and horticulture. How can we continue to be the largest economy in east Africa?

Kenya urged to focus on security as trade rises

Quote:
A global political risk assessor has said that Kenya’s position as a dominant regional economic player can only be guaranteed if it creates a conducive business environment by enhancing security within and beyond its borders.

Global Risk Insights (GRI) stated that Kenya needs goodwill from all political players for business to thrive as well as enhanced institutional capacity within government agencies to address security issues at points of entry into the country.

Good one @symbols/chessmaster/¿, this should continue as the economy starts reeling under the weight of too much debt/high yields/politics/corruption/strong USD!
