Despite scoring first and at one time being two tries up against the mighty All Blacks, Shujaa were unable to match their 2009 exploits when they bundled out the AB in the biggest upset of the Hong Kong sevens. Well, this is 2010 and Shujaa are now line-up to meet South Africa (Again!!) in the plate cup semis.

QF result: Kenya 12 New Zealand 21

Yet another reason for Ayimba and the big boys at KRFU to seriously consider rebuilding a new team. Shujaa, as currently constituted has reach their apex and I doubt if they have the extra punch needed to win any of the these IRB world series tournaments.

@Njunge, you can say that again, nothing!

Some may say hardluck, try again next time. I think I will be more blunt.

Rebuild the team from scratch. I wonder why Ayimba has not seen it necessary tot try akina Mwanja and the other new younger players who traveled with the team.

DonBen,
True.....Looks like fatigue coupled with the fact that this team is all too well known and therefore predictable........Let's try our luck on the sahani (silly name!!)

....and we have talent.

For a while there, I thought we had the Springboks until our player was sin-binned! But as can be seen, with extra effort, Kenya can take on and beat any of the world's top sides.

Score South Africa 19 - Kenya 12.

Well, here are again same script..I have not lost here as someone put it but just said it as it is. I did not watch any of the games in Hong Kong this time but was duly updated, sticking points were that our game is to predictable, fatigue caused by sub par fitness level and age, am i missing anything else?

Am not calling for Benja's neck but i think it's time we changed our tactics.. am not seeing any depth in the team why is this? Why don't we give the young guns a chance esp this small teams that we come against or must Collins, Lavin, Humphrey, Simiyu play??? over to you Benja..Again we go to Twickenham and as the commentators keep reminding us WE ARE THE MOST EXPERIENCED TEAM IN THE CIRCUIT & THE ONLY TEAM WHO TRAVELS WITH THE SAME PLAYERS..do not at any one time think this is a compliment!!!

The greatest danger in times of turbulence is not the turbulence; it is to act with yesterday's logic.

I think Ayimba has taken the sevens team as far as possible...its time for him to step aside and allow someone else with new tactics to take charge. We have so many talented rugby players who have never been given a chance to play for our national sevens team, why not give them a try??
