I'm very disappointed he should have been left to try rectify the mess. Really enjoyed listening to him after very defeat.

I agree with you.

Not a Chelsea fan but they have gone through every single top flight manager at least once. So who next? Moyes. Gary Neville, Ghost Mulei?

Also, Mourinho has a proven track record and it was just a matter of time before he steadied the ship. Allowing players to dictate a teams direction is worrisome at best and stupid at worst.

Sad day in the history of soccer..... With Mourinho gone, who will now be telling us the truth about the underperforming managers in EPL?

Very shocking..... Apparently being a specialist in defeat is not particularly a bad thing.

Great Coach but poor manager. Many trophies but despicable person. He lacks the class of other great coaches such as SAF ,Ancellotti and Pep

All true what you have said ....it is his mouth, with his foot firmly in it, that did him in imho.
Saying players betrayed him? Aiii....
What was the saying yesterday on the site's banner? "A chief says 'I was defeated' not 'My men were defeated' " ..truly apt.

Mourinho is a clueless manager who doesn't know what to do when his team is losing or on a poor run.

This thread would have hit over 300 posts if Wenger had been sacked with some one suspect contributing over 80 percent

there is no risk of that happening any time soon, the fired one once said this...

We cannot be below par. We have to meet the objectives. I have sympathy for Steve. I have sympathy with all of them, because it is a difficult job. There is one outside that list, but good for him.
