I find it amazing that the people who seem to believe that Makhufuli shall fail are the same people who say that the President of Kenya cannot do anything.

It seems that Makhufuli has done more than they thought was possible with a powerless president. Tanzanians aren't complaining. You are.

Depends on whether what he says is really done or not. Who remembers Ruto announcing wastage reduction measures including sijui chai and other stuff, was it followed?
Think Magufuli is seeing it as an outsider like me and you getting into gava and seeing and discovering all the wastage. All the same , i think he should form some "commission" to announce banning of all forms of wastage

This being alarmist, hence miss-informing Shame on you Shame on you Shame on you

I read his speech and he says "...all public institutions to cut expenditure on refreshments during meetings"

He didn't ban meat in the whole country as the title "implies" by intentionally not stating that.

I like this guy.

I am jealous of Tzdians, why can't we get a Magufuli in Kenya.

This is not micro management, its more of curving a new path. So at end of year all he has to check is your refreshments expenditure. Kama iko na sambusa kazi yako kwisha, you can then go tell your wife and kids ulivutwa kwa sababu ya kula sambusa.
