Agreed, but it can get to 20.. Even 30 is not unthinkable

No price is too high or too low for a share. Even 40 is possible

If there's anybody from safaricom reading this, please reduce the price of 4G modems.I have seen you are trying to popularize the 4G network with all the advert and open days. but if 4g equipment like modems and phones are very expensive then you wount have the desired effect and all this 4g promotions will be invain.

How will the structure be if its broken up? Will Mpesa be a separate company whereby they will be forced to sell to Orange, Airtel, Wanananchi Group etc or will it be just another subsidiary of Safaricom (under a holding company) but a separate company?

We shouldn't punish innovation, good strategy and hard work.
Safaricom is a good example on how we should run our parastatals, government and kenyan companies.

If there's anybody here who works for Safaricom especially those in product development department you are making a very grave mistake. You cannot be advertising 4G speeds and offering people 2G/3G data packages. How can you brag about your 4G which has a speed of 30mbps download on average(on Safaricom's network) and yet the bundles sizes of 10mb ,50mb and 100 mb?so does that make any sense.
Standard practice the world over on 4G networks is to offer data packages of 1Gb,5Gb and so on and if they are exhausted the user is throttles to say 1 mbps.4g setup cost millions but from what am seeing safaricom isnot really keen on recovering the investment.
This is where i side with these calling for reduction of 4G license so that serious players can enter the 4G market and ignite the 4G market

cck has said it will equitably allocate the 4G broadband spectrum to the three players lets see how different the rest will do it.

Safaricom is like the dog in the manger. It cannot eat the hay but will not let the cows eat the hay either. Safaricom is just trying to corner the spectrum so others cannot use it.
