Instant Messaging Virus...

Be advice... anyone using Google Talk or any Instant Messaging apps.

I have received the following message on my Google Talk from some of my online friends "I'm afraid to post this photo online, but want to know what you think about it. m_e10031d64b16569efe9576ce4e9497ab.JPG"

Once you click on the link, it downloads an MS Dos App with is malicious software...

According to SANS... Though no damage has been reported, the code also installs a back door that can give hackers remote control over the infected computer. By default, antivirus software only scans for .exe files. And even if users change the settings on antivirus software, the JPEG file name extensions can be manipulated to avoid detection.
