staff retrenchment ikuje na tena haraka. always felt there are too many idle people esp ground crew at all local airports.. like the ones whos only job is to confirm the ticket and smile

How about poaching ET staff? I mean, We Lead, Others Follow: 1. KQ got an all ladies 787 crew, Dreamgirls, ET went got one too. 2. KQ got an all Sino crew, ET went and got one too! Smh. Even the ET CE secretly alluded that for extra points he'd work for airline X! (he should name names) Dumbfounding too is with ET having double KQ's fleet capacity, they carry circa a 3rd more passengers?!? That means KQ has some hidden potential that must be found and unlocked! Bottom line, a dynamic balance to the multi-stakeholders interests must be arrived at soon - minimal casualties. Inclusive of the fact that shareholder interests have been neglected much too long!

Kq is doomed if its managers keep thinking that they are working for some parastatal. Big salaries with no show of work by the directors. They should all take a pay cut get paid half the salary and then get a bonus when the company makes a profit. The brain wakes up when the environment is uncomfortable. Going round KK petrol stations does not guarantee that there will be no fraud at that company Of course but it's good to kick the tyres once in a while. Talk to employees. For those of us who used to shop at Uchumi, we could see the end was nigh. Empty shelves, disgruntled employees and dirty stores. Greedy when others are fearful. If you want to know if a company is doing well check their outlets for customers, then do a mystery shopper thing and get a feel of their service. If the management can be trusted this will be a great sign of good things to come.
If these don't look good , eventually the company will run down , it does not matter how long it takes.
