It's true it will be easy to micro manage from the county level because I saw some people openly demonstrating against govornor ans mca than a national body managing all coffee growers all over the country

Yes. infact I think I once posted something to that effect. Moi was blamed even when global prices tumbled

Farmers were paid late, as late as August, and the pay was no better than those who sold to independent millers. but i think he will get it right, given some time. Proverbs 4:23

All I know is that in late 1990s farmers were paid between nothing and 5 shillings per kilo of the berries. In 2004 coffee price was between 50 and 150/-. The lowest it has gone since then is about 35/-. To break even, berry price should not be lower than 60/- per kilo. Proverbs 4:23
