My question - what enables you to dismiss this text and not kill your "concubine" or "give your daughers out for gang raping" or other myriad of really disturbing or ridiculous texts? What makes you not follow these ones to the letter? if you have that 'thing' that makes you not 'give your daughters out to gangs of robbers'... why not allow by pass the text for direction and use that 'thing'? Because some of the things in there are horrible and going forward we will have nut cases that literally believe these things and will consider themselves 'true' believers and with the ease of getting weapons - they may end up being your neighbour!

Both the Jihadist and the crusaders are/were fighting the "Holy" war of intolerance! The difference, you ask? Well, it is happening now, in our lifetime, in the age of enlightenment, development, science and knowledge. Oh, and criticism. It doesn't matter,it's a learning curve 1. First it was the pagans who were killing the Christians and banning of Christianity , churches and temples in the years 300-400. 2.Then the Christians came, they were ,persecuting forcing conversion and killings by beheading of Jews and Muslims in the years 380-1900(I'm sure some Muslims, jews and African with their Gods were wondering why is this happening now in our lifetime of development and knowledge) So now its turn of the radicalized islams who are doing what some radicalized pagans and christians did(and of course you are here wondering why is this happening in this lifetime of exposure,development etc) Next it will be Hamburglar who will beheading your Christians,Muslim, Jews etc, from his post you can read some form of radicalization. Be still and know that He is God! 2. I am sure you will and can have a cute discussion with the pagans and the Jews of 380-1900 about their woes. When you are done with that perhaps you can also identify with the current victims and condemn their attackers. Hello?

Interpretation is subject to many things. There's a study called hermeneutics which involves many things, principally symbols and their psycho-spritual connections. An analogy would be for each event there's a 'quantum level' concerned. How to discriminate? 'Frequency' consonance, 'valence', and to return to hermeneutics, consistency of metaphor and use in propelling a particular metaphor forward.

Once you start believing that your god and religion is superior than other gods and religions, you are radicalized and that's how the senseless arguments, hate and killing start If your god is superior than other gods, he doesn't need you to argue for him, kill for him, protect for him etc because he is not weak! All you need to do is be still and know that He is GOD... Ni hayo tu! If Obiero did it, Who Am I?

If your god is superior than other gods, he doesn't need you to argue for him, kill for him, protect for him etc because he is not weak!
All you need to do is be still and know that He is GOD... Ni hayo tu! Now you are talking! Consider the following statement: Alphdoti is very mad at someone because of how they depict God. He has a problem with how their depiction of God and he has taken it upon himself to 'correct' that 'mistake'. He believes he has a superior understanding of God and that his religion is the correct one. Alphdoti is radicalized, and senseless. He argues a lot about it and his friends (who also believe like he does) go a step further and hate and kill others who don't believe like them. This is what I'm trying to say here.
