In the last week you've probably seen a media outlet promoting this fella after he had a mega bash. Youth being led to admire him and his "mystery business." http://nairobiwire.com/2...ish-birthday-party.html
You only need to see the company he keeps in those elaborate parties to know what business this guy is up to. Google his name + fraud to see the smoking gun. This, plus Jared Otieno, Barry Ndengeye, Babu Owino... all these Viro padlock dealers being touted as the guys who "run this town." @muganda please tell your comrades to tone down the money worship before our kids start emulating

Interesting. Ayn Rand once wrote: Quote:"When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion - when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing - when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors - when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don't protect you against them, but protect them against you - when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice - you may know that your society is doomed." Richard Makena - Malengo Trading Company Ltd - Kenya (& Peter Okola & Paul) Mmmmbahahahahaha........On a serious note, i know of 3 dudes who lost 6M to these scammers but i still ask myself how? October 23, 2014 9:19 amPosted 1 year ago Bobbo
I know of these Kenyan-Steve Mbogo(alias Steve Ndegwa) who pretends to deal in Gold from his offices in wetlands in Nairobi, Kenya. This guy is a full a scamster, he cons foreigners almost weekly. The surprising thing is, he can do it right under the noses of authorities as he has friends in high places including very senior police officials. Joe
Steve Mbogo, also known as Steve Ndwiga, As gold scammer and gold thieves come, this guy should be put on every Gold blacklist. Steve Mbogo has a whole team with different roles, and even shows borrowed gold, pretending he has gold. Key is to not make any upfront payment whatsoever, you will never see your money again. A small time crook and con artist working out of a seedy Westlands office. Steve Mbogo pretends to dabble in politics, etc. but is really a cover for a small time gold Crook rolling in.borrowed fancy cars. Reply Visit site September 7, 2015 4:15 pmPosted 2 months ago H. Lee
Steve Mbogo (alias Steve Ndegwa alias Steve Ndwiga) is a serial scammer, con artist who seems to enjoy very high connections within the Kenyan Government. We are a group of South Asian businessmen who have lost over $1,000,000 dollars to him and his associates trying to do legitimate gold deals. All beware

Quote:We are going after Steve Ndwega Mbogo, from Nairobi, along with his associates (Zinet, Jacques, Bendinga, etc…) in a big way. If you want to join us, you are welcome. He pretends to have high contacts, but from our interaction with Criminal Investigation Division (Cid), it is mostly trumped up, just like his gold Act. He is simply a con artist, working out of his Westlands office, in Nairobi. And his time is running short. We lost about $200k after being shown borrowed gold. He even has contacts at the airport, where they showed us a cargo and asked for more money. He also has a website http://www.stevembogo.com to try and c

alma1 wrote:I'll buy someone a Tusker to explain to me this padlock business. They basically say on a website that they sell gold, but really they don't have any gold. Usually they claim they have a hook up in Congo where gold can be bought cheap and sold high in developed countries. Then when the client emails them, of course now you want proof, but they have that covered. Usually they have set up some people in a dingy swamp somewhere to look like they are mining for gold. Also they have small samples of gold to show as proof, but these are usually borrowed trinkets of real gold. The client now wants further clarification from the bank and the police force about the delivery, but the con man has already bribed people from both institutions with a stake in the loot, so they corroborate the con man's lie. The client after "confirming" everything puts a massive deposit on the goods to be delivered and flies back home. We're talking hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars. When the client gets his delivery, he opens the cargo only to find ground up "golden" Viro padlock dust

many kenyans believe almost anything without the slightest of interrogation. we have even seen it here on wazua with folks vigorously debating on what is clearly fake news lol. All my friends are heathens, take it slow. Wait for them to ask you who you know. Please don't make any sudden moves.
