Guys, if you were given a million Kenya shillings (that is USD 9,790 as of 5th of Nov 2015 at 4:15pm) and 10 years to invest.

Where would you park (invest) the cash and why?

NB: Capital erosion should be kept at minimum

Meaning in a 10 year horizon, you should make a decent return in land, stocks, bonds, business, almost any investment venture really - as long as you know it ...and have paid losses, earlier, to master it.

10 year bond at 14% or,
Buy proti huko kitee and sahau it for the period.

10yr ago if someone had used 1m to buy 20acres huko kitengela (at 50k per acre), today he'd have 320m at the current price of 2m per 1/8 th. Land is king.

1/4 acre was 600k in kitengela in 2005. Maybe you meant 25years ago
