Does anyone know a place or download site where i can find the videos of kenyan old time greats playing? examples, Kadenges, Thiggo, Sammy onyango, Mahmoud Abbas, JJ masiga, Dawo, etc.

You and many other people want these videos. KBC has them. Sometimes they show very brief clips. On youtube there is a very brief clip of Harambee stars scoring against Cameroun at the 1987 All Africa games. There is also a brief clip of Magongo Zamalek scoring for Gor Mahia against Esperance in December 1987.

The clips are so brief (10 seconds or less). Its as if KBC is deliberately keeping them away from people.

Back in 2007, I actually went to broadcasting house and pleaded with them to make them available for sale. Apparently you can buy old video clips but KBC charges an arm and a leg. At the time he wanted to charge me Ksh 20,000 for a 5 minute clip.

I was also told that because KBC is broke, they often had to re-use tapes so they have recorded over many of these historic games.

I told them KBC would make a lot of money if they made them available for sale at reasonable prices. Or if they even made them available for viewing at their website, they can generate a lot of web traffic.

Its not just football. Even old time programs like Fedheha and Vioja with kina Masanduku. The man promised he would work on it. Here we are 8 years later.
