Kenyans (we) are living in paradise bwana(Morgan Heritage)! There is NOTHING WRONG with the economy particularly looking at our past(unless i don't know simple math). 5.7/7 *100=81, jubilee is delivering at 81% on its main indicator, economic growth they promised in their manifesto(inspite of your govoners/ngilu/nys staff theft, teachers forcibly eating laptop budgetlast year e.t.c). And they say they can jump to 10% anytime. Kibaki/Raila and Moi combined did not catch a single thief and you knew/know nothing of all the swindling and tenderprenuership that went on in that era? EACH AND EVERY THIEF GOT AWAY. Why the whining when you hear a thief has been caught, and the actual theft explained to you in detail? THIS IS WHAT INVESTORS LIKE. So you think there was no stealing or do you STUPIDLY conclude that because thieves are now getting caught there is OVERSTEALING "logic" by a thieve who went to steal maize and oil with the son (rip)?. Even the cops who are now being sacked you want to say they were not taking bribes all those years. FOR THE FIRST TIME each and every thief is being caught to the degree that even the Deputy is scrutinised by the public thouroughly for his land, when has that ever happened before? Thieves will continue being caught and sacked if you are a beneficiary you can keep whining over nothing. Please note UK is TEN times of the "fake economic analyst" you are. Whining whining all the time whining, nyee, nyee, nyee! Ras Kienyeji Man

@ much know the mandatory disbursement to county govts has created a huge hole in the budget, couple that with overambitious jubilant manifest prepared by advertising executives, kutendering and you'll realize we're in uncharted territory. However thanks to mandatory disbursements to county govts, we'll always know the status of balance sheet unlike b4

IT"S A LOOTING SPREE!!. God help as all. ISOKEI Quote:The CEO Catherine Namuye in collusion with a senior board member and other senior managers are said to be deeply involved in the scheme that has seen the Fund lose Sh180.9 million in two months between February and April.
On Saturday, the chairman of the Board of the Youth Enterprise Development Fund Mr Bruce Odhiambo said he had travelled to Nigeria and will comment when he returns to Kenya.
According to the documents, Ms Namuye on February 11 wrote to Mr Ken Ouko, the director of business development asking him to transfer Sh115,710,000 to Quarandum Ltd “for consultancy services rendered.” Copying from these people. Portfolio: Sold You know you've made it when you get a parking space for your yatcht.

These high standards of scrutiny come along with sovereign debt blah blah e.t.c but to cut the long story short, what you are seeing is the outcome of austerity measures which enabled garment get money (borrow), e.g, to cut the economics bullsit short, the lenders were saying "make sure you sack all the bad people", in plainsman language, "make sure you stop corruption", in a measurable' and this is going on. Forget about interest rate 19% blah blah, e.t.c, that is like a plumber cleaning a clogged system and a huge STINK is raised and you assume that is the interest rate, e.t.c, the long of it is the gaarment want to sack money through plumbing system for its own complex 'monitory fiscal reasons' which just means redirecting cash flow somehow from the crook to clean people, even BANKS can collapse in such process, even NSE listed companies, but NEW ones can spring out of the dirt, so things are OK Quantitative easing simply means the US goverment has taken over loans from it's good banks to scrutinize the same way above, it will tell/drill them on what kind of new strategic areas to invest (e.g. solar in Kenya) and then when it raise the rate the banks are on their own, e.t.c all this are simple procedures, DON'T PANIC! I think my advice to anyone in Kenya is if you have a chance to loot, loot. From the big guys up there from the Prezzos family then the deputy president, come to the CS, then go to parliament docn to the governors and their MCAs go to the doctors, lawyers, police everyone is eating and the solution would be even the small guy kule mashinani should also start eating that way everyone brings the economy down and every one pays for the consequencies. Otherwise some people will pay for things they never did. Look at the KRA not getting the targets (reasons given by Njiraini) but some people say corruption in the institution might be the cause. Look at what Uhuru ordered lifestyle audit , why ??? The CBK guy said he wants to live with the Opus Dei folks and people applauded. What happens to his salary and allowances? i hope it ends at the congregation .The country is going to the dogs.
