Actually, the cost of giving birth should be increased. We also need a 1 baby policy like China or huge fines for extra babies. We are overpopulated.

Don't be lied to - the REAL problem here is being unproductive not numbers of people. We are drop in the ocean but somehow we have been taught to say "tuko wengi"... mko wengi wapi? Nairobi? hata Dar has more people. Have you travelled like on the way to western and seen the vast stretches of un occupied land? Like 90% of Kenya's population has settled on the 100km stretch of land both sides of the railway.
And again 'taking care of yourself' is a subjective/relative matter.... it's not government that is to take care of you - it's you to take care of yourself and your children.

Yes and most nywele ngumus have failed. What percentage has a college fund or a retirement fund? How many look upon their kids to take care of them instead of the other way round?
