This is a union that has survived through the Jomo period, through Moi error, and Kibaki yrs. And now these boys want to kill it. How would you feel if your union is killed and your september salary is withheld by your employer. Then you are supposed to work happily and productively. After killing KNUT, they will move to the other unions such as UASU etc.
After the Kibaki years, employees and kenyans in general expected a govt that would take care of them even better than kibaki did. Not a govt that kills them economically, and professionally.
No @Hardwood.We are not happy.Nobody is happy.Over 50%of my relas are teachers and when they suffer ai suffer too.
However let this Teachers issue be dealt with in totality.KNUT has never downed tools for any other reason other than money.Yet you and I know there are other pressing needs. We also know teachers are not the least paid,we have worse situations.
Let discussions begin to solve all issues.
I desire a situation where we all issues are tackled.Eg House allowance for Nbi should be different from that of a teacher in shags etc.
But all is not lost. Sossion can use the 627627 pay bill number to collect the funds.
