I saw it coming immediately the results were announced. Kenya had a chance to save this country when a number of options that could be trusted presented themselves for election to lead this country. We however opted to give over 90% of the vote to the two worst options.
When the prince picked kutender as the running mate, I thought.... He is either like him and approves his behaviour when it come to public property which is public knowledge (from the days of Youth for Kanu 92, Ngong Forest, Processional way, IDP Land, Airport Land, Railway Land - Just a little of what we know, or the prince was too desperate to be President that he did not mind who he teamed up with. I had also not forgotten that before Kibaki took power, Farmers in Nyandarua preferred to milk and pour the Milk just to relieve their animals. A company related with the prince was paying peanuts to farmers because KCC had been killed. Some machines had also been taken from KCC Kiganjo in Nyeri by we know who. Based on that, I decided they will not have my vote even when everyone else was giving them.
Kutender actually negotiated for Finance, Agriculture and Energy dockets before the elections as one of the conditions to team up with Uhuru. Remember he was also negotiating with Raila and no one was sure who he would team up with. Uhuru it appears gave him a sweeter deal and Raila had to go for Kalonzo.
Of course Cord was a no no. They would compete with the current team or even be worse.
What do we really look for when we go to that ballot box? May be our only interest is our tribes-man.
I think ignorant, stupid and foolish may be the word to describe the average Kenyan voter.
