Let me assume that you are mido class who do not need government services. You take your kids to private international schools are therefore do not care about the millions who cannot afford to pay school fees, you have medical cover for your family and therefore your wife will not die while trying to give birth at home, you have enough assets that you can give as collateral for the bank loans and you have enough for your family to download movies, play online games and steam football games.
Let me remind you something Kenya is a poor third world country where millions live in less than a dollar per day.
1)Education-We have crazy gaps in our society between the haves and the have not.One of the key drivers that will bridge this gap is education.Education means enlightenment and equal opportunities for all.
2)Health:For citizens of a country to be productive then they must be healthy. Our children need not die from curable diseases. Our mothers needs not die while giving birth. We have lost so many family members and friends in terminal diseases such as cancer.A serious government must invest heavily in getting the right equipment, facilities and personnel in health.
3)Power:Power is a key driver in the economy.Affordable power means better lighting in our streets, more secure environment and hence 24 hr economy.Power is also a key input in the production industry. The lower the cost of power, the lower the cost of production and the more competitive our products.

The government must however deal with corruption and wastage so that they can gain public trust which they have lost because nothing seems to be done about the rampant corruption and wastage.
The project must be fast tracks so that the citizens can start seeing the benefits of the sacrifices that they are making. That the government both central and devolved is utilizing the little resources prudently.
The citizens need also to be informed about the opportunities in investing in the government treasury bills and bonds rather than the opportunities benefiting only going to foreigners and a few middle class.
The high interest rates have made the dollar to weaken against the shilling and we are likely to see sub 100 before the end of the year.
In the mean time the citizens needs to minimize imports as we await the shilling to strengthen.
