I'm asking like a layman.

Are the KCSE exams being shown all over social media real?

If they are, why do we have an education ministry?

What happens to the children who don't have access to social media to see those exam papers?

Please say its not true

Leakage has been there since Knec inception or since National exams began. It has been there, still is there and will remain. The difference is that it wasn't being hyped as now. Current hype is a sabotage owing to Tsc vs teachers wars in recent strikes and pay disputes. It'll come to pass! Detecting cheaters is veeeery easy during exam marking. Moderation is always used.

Stop being a comedian. I like your indepth analysis on this site but being a comedian is not your forte.

Citizen news posts an exam that's going to come tommorow. And it shows up word for word. The none 36bloggers have been posting now for 2 weeks the exams. They even have the answers.

Then you say its normal?

Aiii boss!!

Before one ask if exams are leaked, one must ask oneself if he has examined himself. To know oneself and one's origins and to embrace it is a most important undertaking. To connect and identify with one's relatives is a right exam question. Those who have no such connections tend to ask odd questions. Ask the right question.

Boris is right. This has always been there.i have heard of worse exam cheats than just having papers flying around. This should be left to the blogoshere and am saddened to see it in mainstream media because this is sabotage to the majority of the honest students

Oh, so that's the new argument

Since it has been happening before, why bother?

Please use that argument next time you talk about Aladwa screaming nonsense. After it has been said before by Kuria, its only the bloggers who are making too much noise about it.

When some corrupt fellow steals a school ground, oh don't worry, even during Moi's time, it used to happen. It's just this Boniface guy who makes too much noise.

If you can't get the fact that an exam was leaked on National TV and students sat for it the next day, is a bad thing, then I'll keep quiet and go look at those gov't bills and bonds that people are talking about in investors section.

When the voters are apathetic, don't blame the gov't officials for being unapologetic about about their inadequacies.

Its teachers who set these exams, they share among themselves. Its humans who print, pack and guard these exams. Kenyan parents and teachers want their students to pass highly than their intellectual capacity.Exam officials want to make a kill in such times (cartel) During marking cheating is most times detected are several measures undertaken. Either "Y" when evidence is strong or marks/grades reduced in weak evidence. Those caught in these malpractices are normally taken to court yearly so its the courts that rule.Sometimes people "fight for their own" and are set free by courts. I Wonder watu hawakuangi Kenya wakiona hii mambo. The current one is fuelled by sabotage that's why I said its a special case.As a parent, as a teacher, as a principal you should say no to stealing and report such "sellers". In fact media should have provided police and knec with the source so as help tame such behaviour. By hiding their sources then they " protect and encourage " the vice.

the media knows it's role... and it's not improving society! if the media can get sources why can't the authorities? I don't think it's in the media's best interest or any form of interest in them outing their sources.... if they are seen to be outing their sources si biashara yao kwisha? it's not in their interest...
