if we are going Greece then your money is safer invested in land.

Note I am not saying real estate, I mean undeveloped land

First go to CBK and collect a CDS account opening form. From there its all self explanatory from the CBK website. Its not a complicated process as it may feel.

It is worse leaving your mirrions in Equity or CBA...may be buy an 8 inch thick mattress.

The only way you can survive a government bankruptcy is to have foreign currency under your mattress. The local currency will be severely devalued and the few banks still in operation will have a crazy withdrawal limit like $10/day..Kenya isn't bankrupt yet but give it a few years.
