Hello Wazua Veterans. I am a young person aged 23yrs...salary around Ksh 100,000 net. I believe that most of you were once here at some point. Single, and not ready to mingle. I have been having many thoughts on how to use my extra cash because my expenses hardly reach 25k. Sometimes I think of buying a car, other times I think of land, matatu, etc. Please note that I have a full time job 8-5. I figured that since most wazuans have been at this point before, I can get some insight in things they would have done differently, and then apply them in my own life. Thanks in advance!

You are truly a special specie. In my years on earth, I have never met anyone who has no idea of what to do with extra cash.

I once worked with an old guy at the same level and always got amazed at how he would find and give the best positive and motivative answer even to the most ridiculous questions from some of us who were almost age mates to his kids then.I adored him for that. This

Simple answer: Make a five year strategic plan that should include courtshop! Invest in real estate, treasury bonds/bills, ... Matatu ???

Thank you aljazeera. He is here to be helped with ideas . But putting someone down isn't leadership. Reminds me of someone i used to have in primo . I tried once to go ask for help with math and he made me feel like crap and never helped. I made sure I will proved him wrong one day . We went to different high schools . Guess what,he came to me for help during school holidays with the same math.I got satisfaction that I always wanted to achieve from him and there was nothing satisfying like that .

Back to young man , buy plots through saccos like safaricom sacco or stima sacco or any other prudent . The good thing with land they will appreciate as you figure out what you want to do with money . When you will have a business idea you will dispose and by then God willing they would have appreciated in one way or another. Exercise caution buying land from individual .
Some stocks are discounted now.if you buy them now look up to 4 yrs from now because don't expect them to rise anytime soon.things don't look good in kenyan market and won't in a while

Read other threads here you will find something resourceful too. All the best

Thank you guys. I think the buying plots route is the best. I have checked "The best sacco to join" but contributors have digressed from what the originator wanted...the guy asked which sacco was the best to use for land purchases, but members have contributed without this specific request in mind citing other factors such as dividends etc. ::::My question is, has anyone here ever bought land successfully through a sacco, and received the TITLE DEED promptly? If yes, which sacco was it?::::with this information, I will be in a better position to google the rest of the information about the sacco/s

@Jon Jones, @Aljazeera, @enyands cut to the chase. What are you selling?

There is no living 23 year old with financial circumstances/ problems that you described.

What we are selling is if you have no help you want to give him it's better you leave him to figure it out than tell him something like what you did.you make it sound like here in wazua we have rude breed of people. Pole if I sound mean but it's what I see.
