This is very sad and not acceptable!!!!

@merchant, do you have some info on the Congo killings, or it is business as usual "media backout" and reporting one sided stories just like Substandard newspaper?

Saudi Arabia: Juvenile prisoner faces 'death by crucifixion' after appeal is dismissed

Now ANOTHER youngster faces beheading in Saudi Arabia just days after crucifixion outcry

@muriel, regarding your "crime & Punishment" chart above, do not be misled by the so called islamic State, those are bunch of savages Shame on you Shame on you

Look at the last punishment in the list for example. There is no crucifixion as a punishment in Islam. If one commits theft and in the process killed, in which case he should definitely be executed.

Quote:
The last time a man's hand was cut off by Saudi authorities was in December 2013, the only one on record for that year.

The kingdom follows a narrow interpretation of Islamic law.
Muslim scholars generally agree that severe punishment should not be carried out on a person who steals due to hunger and poverty.
Also, Saudi Arabia has one of the highest execution rates in the world. It carried out at least 78 executions in 2014, most of them for drug smuggling.

UN agency staff linked to terror

Quote:

“We are very concerned about the alleged involvement or complacency of some UNHCR personnel, who facilitate terrorist activities in this country,” he said.

The minister spoke during the 66th session of the Executive Committee meeting in Geneva, Switzerland.

Mr Nkaissery said the final planning and logistical support for nearly all the terrorist attacks in Kenya were executed under the cover of the refugee camps.

“The planning of the Westgate attack was finalised in the camps. The weapons used in the attack on Garissa University College earlier this year were ferried and hidden in the camps,” he said.

@muriel, be careful about the source of what you share. Pamela Geller is anti-Islamic. So you would expect such stories from her. See one of the lies she spreads "...Muslims were released, while non-Muslims had their eyes gouged out...", which is totally untrue.

See description of her in Wiki.

Quote:
Pamela Geller (born June 14, 1958)[6] is an American political activist[7] and commentator. She is known for her anti-Islamic writings, opposition to the proposed construction of an Islamic community center near the former site of the World Trade Center, and sponsorship of the "Draw the Prophet" cartoon contest in Garland, Texas. She has been described as anti-Islamic

Quote:
She is currently the president of the American Freedom Defense Initiative which she co-founded with Robert Spencer.[10][11] The American Freedom Defense Initiative has been designated an anti-Muslim hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center.[12] The British government barred Geller's entry into the UK in 2013 saying her presence would "not be conducive to the public good."

I am quoting Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery. What does he have to do with Pamela Geller?

Psychopathic war criminals, in the league of Charles Taylor & Pierre Bemba, have rabidly attacked and utterly destroyed a hospital in Kunduz killing many and several ICU patients on their beds and some 21 doctors. They should be charged and tried for war crimes and jailed for lengthy terms, isnt it dear Alba? Just what kind of psychopaths do that! Then they want to say "Sorry." and want the matter to end there, just what madmen does that?

Let us emphathize with the people of Syria. Bombs everyday, from Western coalition, Russia, Assad, ISIS, Militias, Turkey, Hezbollah and god knows who else. Result is suffering and more suffering, doesn't matter who drops the bomb.
Life is short. Live passionately.

You are being left behind by the times. Life owes them nothing. Empathy is for the weak. Survival of the fittest. Don't get emotional. Who cares?

AB nice try.

I am not an apologist of the west. I am anti-war. I have said many many times that USA should pull out of Afghanistan and let the Afghans fend for themselves.

I support a full investigation into the attack in Afghanistan. If an American is guilty, let him go to the Hague. But even more important, USA needs to pull out of Iraq and Afghanistan

So you are anti-war?

Until I see decided action from you in relation to America, the single country that has caused and participated in the most wars at least this decade, the country that can give $500m, weapons arms & military training to groups of individuals whose single aim is to violently overthrow an already existing elected government of a sovereign country (democracy, anyone?) then your anti-war credentials are not worth the bytes they occupy in the internet. Delete them. You just might create more cyber space for the greater good of mankind.
