@hardwood, that part of the plot is clear as you have pointed out. What am having a problem understanding is the move to revisit the wake report.

Isn't that too risky ? The detailed testimonies in that report are too harrowing and graphic. That have managed to convince their constituencies that the violence did not happen and everything was stage managed. As George Kegoro of ICJ pointed out, they risk re-opening wounds.
