Its incumbent upon the current gaaament of the day (Jubilee for now) to stop the closure of such an institution, if they fail to do so and with all the state muscles they got then they are part and parcel of the melee.

Sugar closed down...

What resources does the Law school lack to warrant a closure? Books or lecturers? Are there any other resources needed for a law school? Maybe they can give them the free WiFi that was promised for counties and they can access all the learning materials online and the learning resumes.

@Rollins, learn from @washiku. You see he does not critic along tribal lines. If something affects public, we should question. Story za kusema ati oh so and so is "muthama" is what is taking our country backwards. No wonder we are behind as Africans, you never critic your tribesmate, forgetting in that closed campus, there is your tribe too who is now at home!

How come the likes of Inoorero 'university', Mt. Kenya and KEMU were not closed that swiftly...... given time to correct issues that were identified as wanting.

It is a shame the kind of graduates these universities are producing. The issue of quality of our graduates is a major problem and needs to be addressed urgently and soberly.I was speaking with an administrator at THE and he said they have deliberately refused to open universities everywhere to focus on quality.
Sad that most universities are just businesses with the objective of maximizing profits.
The likes of Mama Kamau University needs to be looked into.

Kikuyu universities have been allowed to offer courses like medicine in Kenya yet 4th world countries like Rwanda have clearly noticed they are dubious as the lecturers are people who sell miti no dawa and now purport to teach medicine in universities. The university in question only attracts Kamau lecturers as proper professors like Oduol cannot fathom working in a mountain university teaching future Mugo wa Wairimus and goat eaters

Isn't MKU headed by Professor Stanley Waudo as the VC. Is there a more qualified luo professor than Prof Stanley Waudo, PhD? And didn't Mugo get his nursing degree from the University of Nairobi Medical School, which is rumored to have many luo professors? Ujinga na Ukabila itakuua kijana.

@Rollins noted. Actually if you noticed, I didn't mention a party, rather I said "govt", although I know the current govt is "TNA" and it's the govt which has been obsessed with closing lately.

If the law school has some deficiencies, they should address them as per the standards set by the CLE. Blaming sijui govt, TNA wont help.
