Hello Faa.
Have previously taken time to study the Premio/Allion engines being a mechanics lover and Premio 240 (2004-2007) owner
This is what you need to consider:
- Valvematic was available for the 2.0L version in 2008 while this was only made available for the 1.8L in 2010
- Manufacturer claims a 20% better fuel efficiency on the 2.0L valvematic. In most cases, this figure is slightly over-stated.
If you have set your mind that you need this particular technology with an ex-Japan car, my guess is that you'll go with the 2.0L unless you want to pay a lot to the KRA; 2008 Vs 2010 car. However the CRSP for a 2.0L is higher than that of a 1.8L
Furthermore, your fuel consumption will only be slightly above that of a 1.8L from the same year if the improved fuel efficiency figures are anything to to go by.
