In the 1960s when Martin Luther King was agitating for equal rights, there were numerous blacks who opposed him and urged him to accept the status quo.
There are parallels to this in every country.

1) blacks are seen as a group when it comes to negativity and as individuals when it comes to positivity.
2) whites are seen as individuals when it comes to negativity and seen as groups when it comes to positivity.

So mwafrika akifanya kitu kubwa na mzuri... it's more an exception... akifanya kitu mbaya - ni waafrika wote and vice versa when it comes to mzungu.
