NTV right now!!!

Government is a total joke!!! With all the taxes we pay, is this Kenya really!!!

Police spokesman is totally arrogant and is avoiding all the questions and misrepresenting facts. Ati being a policeman is a personal choice and those police officers are lucky to be working in those horrible sub human conditions because others are working under worse conditions!!!

No wonder we are not winning the war against Al Shabaab!! We are not even trying! No equipment, no logistical support, No vehicles etc. Even (Dirty and Stagnant) water, the officers have to walk for 2 kilometres inside the heart of Boni forest. The same forest that is a permanent home to approx. 300 Al Shabaab militia. And there being no other water source, the Al Shabaab militia are sure the police officers will be showing up there to fetch water.

My country Kenya is one big serious joke!!! I am totally sad!! That Boni police post is not a random police post. It is a police post at the heart of the war on the Al Shabaab! The government needs to get serious!!!

And the police spokesman should be fired!!!

Parting shot: discipline must be maintained.

How sad! Sad

Those cops badly exposed the security post. They should be interdicted first thing tomorrow.

I get the impression he did that deliberately to pass a message to others with similar intentions of speaking to the media.Sad

I am telling you!!! The message was clear! Only "gazetted" individuals will talk to the press. Meaning: The public continues being fed with bullshit - the same kind of bullshit the spokesman was feeding them on things they had just seen with their own eyes!!!

The Al Shabaab probably know much more than what was said in the program. Those police officers have been attacked several times in patterns that show the attackers know more about the post than was broadcast. Things like vehicles that don't work are not a surprise to anyone in those areas - all of the people definitely know.

And to their credit, they didn't allow recording of the security procedures they put in place to protect the police post and the public.

I haven't watched it yet but what good pleasant working conditions are expected in the forest/jungle? I thought policemen are trained to survive in such environments? Will be back later...

Good lord! Desk under the tree, No walker talkies and personal cell phones that don't work, car doesn't work, house is falling apart??? And we were wondering why it took so long for police to react in Mpeketoni and that other village. These are very brave people to still be at that post.

Initially wanted to post that we should have scannable DLs but since we can't even manage walkie talkies, that's a moot point.
