I'm with you on this one @bkismat. So will we make it past the semis this time?

...I can't wait the day we will win one of these fixtures. I think I will gulp down all my EABL shares...

what i don't understand is how the marketing mandarins at EABL let the Safari Sevens slip out of their fingers. I mean the sevens team is Kenya's most successful team sport. the team will be at the 2016 rio games and may even win an olympic gold medal. and unlike our world beating long distance runners, the guys can actually interact well with the world media. the runners usually have a stock answer."i trained hard and hard and god helped me.

B...
I always see Tusker on the screen. Who are they sponsoring?
...and again, once EABL gets people hooked on the stuff, do they have to waste money on advrets. They only do so when they start seeing sales coming down...

Bkismat....The Sevens team are without doubt the most successful team in Kenya but locally the sport is not as popular compared to Football or perhaps athletics. EABL biggest consumers are in Kenya and not somewhere in Adelaide or Hong kong The Safari Sevens tournament needs fresh ideas to make it more relevant to the audience. Instead of inviting small teams to the tournament they should be thinking of how Kenya (as hosts) can be included in the IRB series.

However, the Kenya Airways sponsorship makes alot of sense because it flies to most of the destinations in the Sevens calendar. That was a good business decision.
