When simba's price slips below NIC's stock price
This is going to be hard to watch when 4000 handle is broken down. Crazy discounts (fat tails) will be on offer across board!
I hope those learning lessons won't repeat the class when the next bear cycle happens in a few years when the bull cycle will be raging hard.
The next bull cycle will be furious after those fat tails are mopped up.
And defensive stocks like KP slipping to 14bob and yet the bottom is circa 13bob...Ni kubaya.

Now that the bear has come faster than expected, does it also mean that the discounts period won't last for long??

I only started investing in stocks this year and I've been hanging in there, and today I feel like its kindergarten all over again. If this is what you call bleeding then yes..... I feel it deep today...

I expect 4317 level to hold in the NSE 20 share Index. If it doesn't then things will likely be quite ugly soon. I will post analysis then.
4317 level? What 4317 level?
4,242.73 boys and girls, 4,242.73.
Looks like @mnandii had predicted sub 4000 correctly
http://www.wazua.co.ke/f...mp;m=677095#post677095.
Things look bad in the global markets, the rate hike has not halted Kes slide, oil is approaching recent lows and that is even before the supply from Iran hits. @hisah what do you make of this cocktail?
With all that volume churning when the rebound from 4317 ensued things will definitely get ugly! Sit tight! 4000 handle will breakdown!
close of day 4171

let's get something straight: America's stock market is pretty far from the "dead bull" level. Stocks would need to plunge 20% from their peak levels and stay down that much for awhile in order to be considered a true bear market. We aren't there yet. We aren't even close.
