C'mon, we can't judge a legend based on his first competitive game in the Emirates where he no longer has a bus to protect him!

After yesterday's performance, I think we were all too quick to right off Man City's title credentials. They look hungry again, which is normally enough to win the league when top quality players regain their form e.g. Yaya and Silva.

But as usual, opening day matches don't determine the league winner. exciting season ahead...

A good Friday night it's going to be with Manutd playing Aston Villa in the EPL at 9.45pm and Barca playing Bilbao for the Spanish Super cup first leg at 11pm. Bayern also open their campaign to retain the Bundesliga trophy today at 9.30pm.
