I recently started construction of a rental property on thika rd (ruiru) and i have had all sorts of quotes presented to me that have left me in a state of confusion e.g.

1. Is it better(more) to buy one full lorry CXZ straight from the river or buy the "half"? Which gives better value for money? full lorry or two halfs?
- How much is a full CXZ mchanga lorry today straight from the river i.e. hakuna mkato?

2. Kokoto - Which is the best lorry to buy from i.e. value for money. Isuzu Giga carries how many tons?
- Can i go to mlolongo myself and order from the muhindi and simply get a lorry to carry the load?
- What is the maximum tonnage for kokoto and which lorry carries it?

3. Is there someone who know the different types of lorries and what tonnage they have e.g.

- CXZ?
- FVR?

For kokoto try FAW or Tata 10 wheel tippers have a very big load bucket(whatever its called).Depending on where specific you are in Ruiru you have the option of Thika - Vallem quarries or mlolongo.
