Yep they do cz the followers are gullible. Its not only the poor. Many rich people surrender their properties to these fellows in the name of God.
The average kenyan loves word of mouth not research.He/she is moved by what they see not what they know. So miracles are very enticing and dramatic and wow! don't we love drama!! What is more pleasing to an ordinary folk than seeing people rolling on the floor, spitting, puking and telling lies to make it sound real?
We are outdoing the nigerian pastors.
Eg.you refuse to pay rent so you rush to ask for prayers ili landlord apatwe na msiba.
The rich naye anaombewa na madoubles so that he/she can double the tithe.
Instead of the 'pastor' rebuking you he tells you its demons harrassing you!! shindwe nkt!
That's why the tv miracles are manufactured and tailor made to meet specified demands.
Its like supermarket unachagua miracles. All u do is utter and pap its at ur door step.
I at times wonder what people are doing in churches at 10 or 3pm when they are supposed to be working.
The disciples had work, they were doctors ,fishermen etc.
Hawa wetu ni lazy and unlearned (most not all). They want to live on people's sweat
Let people be deceived cz if u dare warn anyone utaitwa demon.
Amen.
