We are back! A very young team with only five players retained from the WC qualifiers. Kenya 41-15 Portugal.

Well done. Lets rebuild from here.

Let's now wait for Paarwater to be shown the door like Friday was.

Still needs some tweaking though. Intricate team work passes, but twas a joy to watch. Some tries were awesome.

Sad news for all rugby lovers;

Legendary All Black hitman Jerry Collins died in a car crash this morning.

RIP JC, one of my favourite players of all time.

Yeah saw that somewhere. May he R.I.P though am not an All Blacks fan coz they are more of physical than skillful. England is my fav!

This is the best squad Kenya has ever assembled. Very lethal backline, strong pack despite poor kicking. Darwin Mukidza is surpassing Injera as the real legend of Kenya rugby.

In other news Namibia awaits as they walloped Russia 43-5.

This was a trully historic win for us. Was there to witness the whole thing. Quins I think was packed to capacity.

It was a really tough match as in my opinion (biased and all) the ref was abit harsh on on and allowed the spaniards back into the game by awarding them two penalty tries (who does that).

Congrats to the boys, we need to constantly play teams that are ranked above us so as to improve our rankings. we can next try out romania, russia and then Fiji, Tonga and maybe USA.

Beating Spain took Kenya only two places up in the world rankings to #28. One would think beating a team that is ranked 10 places above Kenya would catapult Kenya at least 5 places and a chance at more IRB funding.

Anyway I am hoping fore more high profile friendlies. Maybe next time Uruguay, Hong Kong or Russia. The last time Kenya played Hong Kong I believe was 2011 and they lost comprehensively. This Kenya team under Paarwater will do much better.

At least rugby fans have something to cheer because the sevens program is just falling apart.
