Saw this on Twitter..C&P Flamini to Galatasaray could be completed in 48 hours. That’s far too long, plenty time for Galatasaray to come to their senses! Truth forever on the scaffold Wrong forever on the throne (James Russell Rowell)

On the other hand, Depay has the pace but he is so selfish. I guess he is in a hurry to impress and if he doesn't change,he will find himself "roasting maize" all to often. I've decided not to judge any team based on preseason games after what happened last season when Man Utd looked so promising last season only to start with a loss at home and 2 draws against opposition like Burnley. That said, we Utd fans have to be hopeful of a proper title challenge and a good showing in the CL, assuming qualification which is not a foregone conclusion - I shudder to think of the backlash if that were not to happen. 3 more weeks to the start of the season and hopefully Ed Woodward will have secured a centre back and striker to complete the transfer window ensemble BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

Man U had better get a goalkeeper before the drama of the last day of window closing. If De Gea wants to go to Real Madrid he will go on the last day. Ni hayo tu! Formal education will make you a living. Self-education will make you a fortune - Jim Rohn.

Ospina should have been given a chance. He is better than Sceznney well it looks like Ospina will stay after all, Arsenal and Roma are in talks over a possible loan deal for Wojciech Szczesny. http://www.skysports.com...nal-and-roma-open-talks?

Real Madrid recently signed Kiko Casilla from Espanyol which means that they have resigned themselves to the idea that De Gea will see out the last year of his contract at Man Utd before joining them on a free next season. According to reports, Madrid will offer De Gea a year’s wage worth around £3.5m to leave Old Trafford when his contract expires. The De Gea-Ramos swap doesn't make sense at all, why would Real trade their best defender and skipper with a player who's willing to join them and has only one year remaining in his contract? Besides Benitez and Perez have already declared that Ramos will stay in Madrid. ION, reports indicate that Benzema could be an Arsenal player next season.

Nothing concrete with any of these rumours. As far as I'm concerned Utd can remain as they are - Rojo and Smalling can play as the centre backs, midfield is overloaded and Rooney, Chicharito and Wilson can battle upfront. Team looks capable of mounting a title challenge, it's Europe where we may struggle for depth. This idea of mounting a record breaking bid for the likes of Muller/Ramos etc does not go down well with me, we can get other players that can strengthen the team. Rumours of making a bid for Pedro only make sense if we offload want-away Di Maria, Utd need to get some of these ridiculous wages off their books. That's why Utd fans felt nothing when RvP left - he had done what he was bought for in the first season. BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

“I don’t think there’s any realistic chance Bayern Munich will let Thomas Muller leave, If there was something serious going on they would be very careful to keep it quiet because politically it’s dynamite. If they let Muller go, there would be riots in the streets of Munich.” German football expert Raf Honigstein I have to agree with that statement, Muller is arguably Bayern's best player and is also a product of their youth system, selling him at his prime would be disastrous regardless of the amount. Anyway going by what Muller said yesterday i don't think he's going anywhere... Bayern Munich must retail a German Core

I wonder why LvG decided against following him after all the toying last season. Bayern are now overloaded in the midfield and look frighteningly formidable - another Bundesliga title beckons with like 10 games to spare...boring league. Manchester United have signed goalkeeper Sergio Romero as a result of the uncertainty over David De Gea. Argentina international Romero, 28, was a free agent after leaving Sampdoria and will replace Spaniard Victor Valdes, who has been told he can leave. Romero, who signs a three-year deal, played in the 2014 World Cup final and won the 2008-09 Eredivisie title under Louis van Gaal at AZ Alkmaar. De Gea is into his final year of his contract and is wanted by Real Madrid. "We have to prepare our season with the threat that David De Gea is going to Real Madrid," said Van Gaal. "Sergio Romero can fulfil that because we have to handle it very quickly if it happens." If De Gea stays, Van Gaal said Romero could compete for a first-team place. "You need always competition. When I see that a player is better than the player in the line-up he shall play the next match." Romero, who knocked Van Gaal's Netherlands out of the World Cup by saving two penalties in a semi-final shootout, becomes United's fifth signing of the summer. Romero is an okay signing for Utd, and can give good competition to De Gea if he stays. I don't rate him highly despite saving 2 penalties in the final against the Dutch in the world cup,if he was a great goalie his name would be mentioned in the same breath as Casillas, Buffon, Cech, De Gea and more lately Oblak, Navas, Claudio Bravo or even Cillespen. Looks like Utd have almost agreed a fee for Di Maria with PSG, definitely less than what Utd got him for but still should be a tidy sum - hope we spend it wisely instead of these ridiculous rumours of putting up 70M pund bids for Muller. He'd be an instant hit but definitely not worth that much. Maybe Pedro to give Depay, Young and Adnan competition and definitely Otamendi to boost central defense. Ramos will not come to Utd, the sooner we move on from that the better. Striking still has a gap, unless Rooney or Chicharito has a stellar 20+ goals season. Di Maria move to PSG complete http://www.espnfc.us/sto...germain-medical-in-doha
44M pounds was not a bad recoup, should be able to get Pedro and a decent centre back before window closes. Di Maria would have had a stellar season at Utd if LvG had used him in his best position...too bad he didn't want to stay BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

There must be only like 5 players who can do that. Hence my use of the term "recoup", though wrong in the real meaning of the word. So I'll take that back for the sake of progress. So seems like Pedro will only come to Utd if guaranteed a starting berth in the first 11, looks like Chicharito is not prepared to play 3rd fiddle again and may be headed to West Ham, of all teams. http://www.espnfc.us/blo...e-de-bruyne-to-man-city
Rafael and Chicharito, those are two players I'll miss as a Utd fan... BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!
