If this means RAO, - his name should actually be 1st in the list of people who destroyed Kenya - PEV. ditto. though he helped in building the democratic freedom space (in a collateral damage manner) as he fought to be president (remember in his mind, there is still no democracy until he wins) i.am.back!!!!

why? wananchi online? it think we confuse 'pioneering' with being successful and changing peoples lives inside out and making a sizable contribution to the economy. All those teachers who taught certains schools should not be on this list! all those people who pioneered something should not be on this list... it should be a list of people who built stuff that changed how we did business and made substantial changes to the kenyan economy. Why all these constant attempts to rewrite history? On this I disagree. I say so because I agree with most of your positions on diverse matters including Kenyan politics. RAO was the main fuel, reason, symbol, catalyst, ignitor and sustainer of PEV. He used it as a bargaining chip for nusu mkate. @Nandwa Whether you disagree is pointless. When people read the real history they will see who went to the Hague. (Ruto and UK) And they will see that Kibaki was adversely mentioned as funding Mungiki. They will also see that it was Kibaki who precipitated chaos with that stealthy swearing in ceremony. You can rewrite history as much as you want here on wazua but the facts are out there for the rest of the world to see.

Kibaki and his support base were on the receiving end for alleged stealing Ngombe ya RAO! RAO refused to take the civised route for dispute resolution, instead opting for "mass action". Day in day out even after many deaths and property continued to be lost/destroyed as a result of his message to his radical support base, he nevertheless continued to call for more "mass action". I dont dispute that Kibakis side chose to retaliate but only after one month of senseless massacre and wanton destruction for and on behalf of RAO whose name & potrait was the rallying call of the foot soldiers & executoners. Just as absolute power corrupts leaders, so does absolute fanaticism blind the people from logic

Clearly most of us don't think past politics. Sadly politics has never and will never build Kenya "There are only two emotions in the market, hope & fear. The problem is you hope when you should fear & fear when you should hope: - Jesse Livermore .

So it is only men who have built Kenya, okay. In the business world, everyone is paid in two coins - cash and experience. Take the experience first; the cash will come later - H Geneen

Yes Masukush, she built Wananchi online and brought internet to the local mwananinchi, its her who made cyber cafes and surfing fashionable in Kenya. Without Wananchi online the internet craze in this country could be different. Remember Ford did not make the first car in America rather brought the car to the people with Model T (Mass production) "There are only two emotions in the market, hope & fear. The Men who built America doesn't include akina Thomas Edison, George Washington, Walt Disney, Albert Einstein, etc. Tukuwe serious hapa bana. The Men who built America were five. Vanderbilt, Rockefeller, Carnegie, J.P. Morgan and Henry Ford. Why not the rest? In equal regard, who can we say built Kenya? Or perhaps hawajazaliwa... That was the first series on the History Channel. I expect more to come. Edison's company was partly bought by JP Morgan and the company was later renamed Edison General Electric Company. I expect them to explain the rivalry that developed between JP and Rockefeller. Washington was a politician and politicians don't build countries rather they formulate policies "There are only two emotions in the market, hope & fear.
