So, I have landed my old man's pick-up and I have done some good work on it, but now, I honestly don't know what to do with it. The one thing I am sure I don't want it to do is construction-related work.

Kindly advise on any good and regular opportunities/contracts out there that you may know. The vehicle comes with a driver.

Thanking you in advance.

What had you intended to do with it in the first place? A pickup is basically for transportation business, so you need to transport something. A contract may not be easy to come by;

1. Park it in a busy shopping center or mall and solicit for transport from shoppers of bulky items such as beds, fridges etc.
2. Go to farmers huko mashinani and buy vegetables or cereals to sell around the estates and shopping centers.
3. Go for charcoal in Kajiado and sell in Kitengela, Athi River and Mlolongo. Remember to spare some loot for the cops along Namanga rd
4. Park it in a busy and highly populated residential area and solicit for transport from residents who want shift or transport any bulky items.

Remember you will be competing with mikokoteni guys so pricing matters a lot.

Yes, pickups are for business. It depends though which type..404 and 504 do not qualify to be called pickups for business...
Carry anything that can be carried and be paid for, even coffins..just park next to a morgue

Identify an area where those constructing are buying materials, and park the vehicle there. When I was constructing, I was hiring pickups regularly to transport materials eg chumas, cement, mbaos, doors, window grills, gate, tiles, MDFs, landscaping plants etc. Normally after buying the items I would look for the nearest pick up for transport. Also talk to the hardware guys coz they always ask if one needs a pickup to transport materials after one has bought bulky items. And they always have some numbers for pick up guys.
