Never ever If KQ reports and even breaks their last reported major corporate loss in kenyan history i want to believe that it will be their last as tourism picks up, resumed W.Africa flights, consultancy firm into their operations, reduced burden of purchasing the other remaining planes, hopeful direct N.America flights, GDP growth.....but that union is an impedement....

On this one am waiting for two things, a possible narrowing down of the losses for the year possibly from the impact of jambo jet having add a half a million local passengers to KQ numbers, Possible disposal salvage of the four old planes whose 5 billion book value writedown from books was responsible for largest percentage of the half year loss. then parliament will have approved the shareholder loan of 4.2. b
so lets wait and see

so lets wait and see If kq was an uchumi it could also have quoted the sale of embakasi yard as claw back profit HF 30,000 ABP 3.49; KQ 414,100 ABP 7.92; MTN 23,800 ABP 6.45

If not as an outright 'profit' then as an increase in the 'Investment Property' or 'Property, Plant and Equipment' I wonder if the KQ accounts will be qualified on the basis of the auditors not sure if it can continue as a 'going concern' #SuicideWatch @obiero Greedy when others are fearful. My net worth is in excess of USD 250,000 mixed in property, cash as well as stocks. KQ is a very small portion of my total holding, meaning even if it is suspended, I shall still drink chilled Grey Goose at the Exchange Bar every Friday night https://www.standardmedi...r-as-namwamba-warns-odm/ HF 30,000 ABP 3.49; KQ 414,100 ABP 7.92; MTN 23,800 ABP 6.45

CEO Mbuvi Ngunze was on the airside personally welcoming customers from flights this morning. Hands on and in touch with the business. If only this site would allow me post a photo
